Ceritanya tentang seorang Guru dari sebuah SMU khusus Perempuan yg bernama Maeda. Ia mendapati dirinya mengidap Kanker Pankreas, ia telah divonis Dokter umurnya tidak akan lama lagi. Karna ia kasihan pada murid-muridnya yg akan Lulus, sebelum ia mengundurkan diri menjadi guru, ia sempat merawat sebuah Pohon Bunga Sakura yg berada di Halaman Sekolah. Dengan Harapan agar berbunga tepat pada saat Kelulusan Murid-Muridnya. Ia juga meninggalkan Surat kepada Murid-Muridnya yg berisikan Petuah & Nasehat. Awalnya mereka tidak menganggap surat-surat Maeda-Sensei, malah spele kata mereka. Namun, setelah sang Guru sekarat dirumah sakit, barulah mereka mengerti dan mulai membuka Surat dari Maeda-Sensei satu persatu.
